Who is UpstartLegal.com?
That's me, John Gerber, in the pictures. I've been a business lawyer for over 20 years, self-employed for more than half that time. I created UpstartLegal.com for people, like me in my legal services practice, who are going out on our own, making our own work, creating our own jobs.
I've helped hundreds of us get businesses started and believe that everyone in business should be legally organized (I am a lawyer, after all). So, in starting UpstartLegal.com, my goal was to take the fear, confusion and high cost out of the process.
That's why my Upstart Package is comprehensive, reliable and cost-effective. I selected the LLC formation services and contract documents we provide based on my years of experience providing the same services and agreements to new and growing businesses. So there are no "up sell" pressures on the site. And I priced the package competitively with other online companies, when you look at comparable sets of services (more on that in the FAQs). Finally, I'll be the one who answers the phone if you have questions.
